It looks as though I completely forgot to do the horses on Friday, I know I checked Thursdays results , and prepared Fridays runners , then got sidetracked (sic), and forgot to post.
On Thursday we had another poor day with only a third from SOCIAL RHYTHM.


Four meetings today but all the best musicals bar one (sic) have gone to Kempton:-

INDIAN BALLAD (Carlisle 18.30) 11-4 fav
SET TO MUSIC (Kempton 16.20) 5-1 fav
SING SWEETLEY (Kempton 17.20) 6-1
CHORAL (Kempton aslo 16.20) 8-1
CLASICALLY (Kempton 15.15) 8-1
OPERA PRINCE (same race) 10-1

Forumites today TILL DAWN (Kempton) TOMS RIVER TESS aand SHEILAS STAR (both Windsor)

Rather better yesterday, and OPERA PRINCE didnt run. CLASSICALLY won at 4-1 and INDIAN BALLAD won at 5-1, CHORAL was second at 8-1
Forumite TILL DAWN was third at 5-1


There are so few Musical Horses running today, I have had to include the outsiders as well:-

Just a third place from SONGSMITH at 10-1, but he ran at Leicester not Kempton !

MUSIC FESTIVAL won at 7-1 yeterday, and ELIJAH PEPPER was second at 12-1. Others all failed

We had one non runner yesterday, but still two winners in SOCIAL RHYTHM (4-1 jtfav) and LUCKY SCORE (15-2). SCOTTISH BOOGIE was third at 7-1

Our musicals did absolutely nothing on Friday. The day was saved by with a brilliant performance by forumite LUCY LIMELITES who won at Newmarket at 10-1. SHE'S ROSIE managed a third at 20-1.

Only four musicals at reasonable odds today:-

SINGEUR (Leicester 15.40) 13-8 fav
OPERA PRINCE (Leicester 17.15) 5-1
LAST ROSE OF SUMMER (Southwell 18.40) 6-1, being a traditional folk song.
LITTLE LIBRETTO (Leicester 14.40) 7-1

Two good forumites:- MAGGIE MEY (Ripon), NIPPY NIKKI (Leicester)

All the musical horses failed abysmally yesterday. JANETS PEARl saved th day for the forumites, coming second at 4-1

A great day for us on Friday (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . All horses placed except G MAJOR, which still managed 5th.
SOCIAL RHYTHM (15/8f) and ARRIVA LA DIVA (5-4f) got us off to a good start by both winning at Musselburgh. PIPERS PIPING came second at 4-1 . ELIJAH PEPPER (9-2) and PAPAGENO both third at 5-1



Only three meetings today, all musicals below:-

CALYPSO MAGIC (Newcastle) 9-4f is the only one better than 10-1
UNCLE BRYN (Newcastle), RED CHINA BLUES (Newcastle), ELKHORN (Newcastle) are 12-1
MAGICAL SONG (Newcastle) is 16-1
OPERACHY (Newton Abbot), BLUES JAZZ (Newcastle) and PICCOLO EXPRESS (Newcastle ) are 20-1

Forumites are SUE AND SUE (Newcastle). Then BARI BAY, MAIZY MISSILE and CHESTNUT BEN all compete in the 15.00 at Newton Abbot. SHIELA'S STAR (Bath)

The only placed musical horse yesterday was CALYPSO MAGIC, second at 9-2
In the battle of three forumites at Newton Abbot, CHESTNUT BEN won at 20-1 ! MAIZY MISSILE follwed him in in second, but BARI BAY was fifth.
