Another nice day on the Wirral, lovely walk round Eastham Country Park, yesterday at Ness Gardens. Both are well worth a visit .

It was slower getting going today, but ended up hotter overall - it was 27.5C driving back through Cheshire earllier on, whereas it was 24 or so yesterday.

First time this week it has been sunny first thing, as opposed to taking all morning to burn off the cloud.
I fear it is going to be very hot indeed, although there is a nice breeze coming through the open window.

Hmmm, am supposed to be in That There London tomorrow for shopping (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) I'm kind of hoping my mother says she thinks it will be too hot for her (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I would like to declare today as National Velvia day. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

(The photographers amongst us will understand.)

I have decided that it is too nice to stay indoors, so work can wait; I am going out for a long walk with my film cameras.

Exceedingly hot, sunny although with slight breeze. Not the day to go into London. Guess where I've got to go this afternoon. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) 'Twould be ok if you didn't have to work. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

Left the house at 7am and for the first time in I-don't-remember-how-long was able to CARRY my cardi to work instead of wearing it!

Twas a complete waste of effort to even bother carrying it though as I never actually used it at all and am still sat here with the window as far open as my wasp phobia will allow (will open it more later) and wearing 3/4 length trousers and a sleeveless t-shirt. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

*Wonders why we have multiple winter smilies and no 'I'm-too-hot' smilie* (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

It is so hot that the cat has given up the greenhouse for sitting in her favourite chair indoors. But it is so hot that I was able to use the Cat Eating Macine (aka vacuum cleaner) without her leaving the room - too hot to care!

The thermometer in my garden currently reads 30.3 degrees, though this won't be accurate it at least gives you the idea - hot! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/fever.gif) - maybe the ice pack will help!
