We had a gorgeous morning on the Wirral, but it deteriorated into heavy showers in the afternoon, though its quite bright again now.

Same here - it was quite sunny this morning. Rain started about 1pm and as I drove to Shrewsbury I drove through some seriously heavy rain. Reasonably fine now.

Humid this morning - but the rain kept away long enough for me to do a few useful gardening jobs, after being away the first part of the week.

Rain started about 12.30 - so an indoor afternoon I think.
