An Ode to the Glorious Summer we are experiencing:

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Summertime…… and the weather is cr@ppy

Fish are jumpin, and nothing is dry.

Oh, your Daddy’s soaked, and your Ma is in wellies,

So splash, little baby, don’t you cry.

One of these mornings, you won’t rise up swimming,

And you’ll have dry things, and you’ll take to the sky.

But till that morning; there’s a nothing can warm you,

But hush, little baby, I’ll make you dry.

[bows and exits in a hurry]

So sorry to be a killjoy but perhaps you could alter the lines a little to read "The weather is soggy, fish are jumpin' and nuttin' is dry"? (Or something silmilar.) I find bad language quite offensive, and it will be just as funny with a couple of minor changes.

Great one Ambs.....think you should take a trip to the west country and sing it to them there Vera Lynn-style!
