I need a C piece for the exam - any suggestions? I tried to get hold of the Pepusch the other week, but no luck.

Thanks, here's the list:

1 Anon. Allmand in F. No.18 from
2 Anon. Gavot in G. No.29 from
3 Hans Keuning 25 Studies for Treble Recorder: no.13, Allegro, or no.15, Tempo di Valse (Harmonia 2164/European
Music Centre)
4 Hans-Martin Linde Modern Exercises for Treble Recorder: no.5, Andante (Schott ED 4797/M.D.S.)
5 Pepusch Allegro in Bb. No.16 (p.13) from More Preludes and Voluntaries (Nova NM 195/Spartan Press)
6 Ton van der Valk 11 Studies for Treble Recorder: no.5, Andante, or no.8, Moderato resoluto (Harmonia 3236/European
Music Centre)

I can scan and email the Pepusch if you would like to see it? I did it for my grade 4. Nice piece.

I think we've got the Van Der Valk and I know we've got the Pepusch.

The Allmand from The Flute Master is good fun! It's really perky and jolly and sounds like a proper piece rather than a study. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The van der Valks are good too but more study-ish, and I've used the Linde on quite a few occasions too.

That would be great thanks - I'll PM you my email.

Thank you very much everyone. I have checked all the local music shops and it seems I'm going to have to order any of them, which is annoying, but c'est la vie.

xxxxx

EDIT - Huge thanks to the amazing recorderzrule for emailing me the piece!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
