Yay, Easter weekend, and another long weekend the week after - all sorts of hi-jinks ahead, methinks.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) Night all... |

Hmm. Bank holiday weekend coming up ? Aye, and the one after I think. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) My GP surgery is going to be closed until something like 5th May. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) |

There's a spider lurking above the doorway between the kitchen and the hall. I keep thinking it's going to drop down my neck. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

First thing my manager said when he arrived in the office: "Do you mind if I open the window, it's very stuffy in here"
My response: "It's already open" Him: "Oh" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I opened it as soon as I got here because I knew that would be the first thing he said (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (Yes this is fairly random. It probably shouldn't amuse me so much but it did) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Yesterday was one of those days when the most useful thing I accomplished was doing my laundry (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) But having turned a halfway decent paper in more than 1 minute before the deadline for once, I'm hoping today is off to a better start? |

How can I tell my husband I want to buy a horse? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
No I'm not being flashy - I just mean a nice little pony for noodling about the forestry and hills. This is going to be a gorgeous summer for pony-picnics. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) There's a livery farm five minutes walk away but I suppose they're too expensive. Oh well, a nice little dream. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) |

I've worked with horses since I was 11, and owned my own little pony for 5 years (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Although if you get one I might HAVE to come visit you and Hannah, and we could have a musical pony trek!! |

Awww how lovely would that be!!!! You would love it here - I'm surrounded by beautiful forestry tracks up into a small 'mountain' which is a lovely day's hack. I used to ride my neighbour's horses (she was training 'endurance' arabs) but she has moved away. I think the livery farm does charge a lot - even for grass livery. Och.. I'm sending you a PM (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

More than once I've seen on the work noticeboard people selling "half a horse" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

More than once I've seen on the work noticeboard people selling "half a horse" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) That would be ideal. A few years ago I was 'loaned' a pony for the winter there by a girl who was off to university. But then she took the pony with her! It was a horrible wet winter and the pony wasn't a very nice person so it wasn't much fun! There are now only about five horses there and I know all the owners and they are full-time and wouldn't want to share. I don't fancy 'bringing in' someone else's horse on loan because I would still have to pay full board for it.. plus all the risks and complications. We'll see what happens though.. I guess I'm just daydreaming because it's lovely 'hack-weather' out there just now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (Hubby has said I can have another puppy instead (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ) |
