Lovely photo. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Corsica is beautiful in June, and you have the benefit of sand, sea mountains and French cuisine in one place. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I like the sticky notes on my computer but would like them better if they came in a variety of colours.

They have a sticky notes program rolled out in our company but one woman a few desks in front of me insists on plastering real ones all over her screens... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

I do that when there is something that I really need to remember for the next day. I stick it right in the middle of the screen so I can't do anything without removing it. Outlook or calendar reminders just don't work; I sometimes mindlessly delete them when they appear.

At a previous employer, one PA used to use the whiteboard wipe-off markers to write stuff on her CRT... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Ya - sorry my fault for not being clear, I was just thinking of this video where there's a lady who tipp-exes her screen but I can't seem to find the link on youtube now...

While I was out feeding the ducks yesterday lunchtime, there was the most ENORMOUS noise - like a low helicopter going over. Only it turned out to be a monster diesel locomotive on the nearby railway line (sadly usually electric, which doesn't make a nice noise or smell).

I am ludicrously please that thanks to t'Interwebs, I have been able to confirm that it was a Class 37. My husband will be so proud of me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

While reading this I randomly thought about how we were standing on the balcony at work on the royal wedding day watching the flypast, and were remarking upon how the sound of the old planes (Spitfires & Lancaster bomber) was unmistakable.

First day off work without the children since before the Easter holidays. Lots of lovely flute and just a tiny bit of hoovering. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
