Then say like an Oboe, but bigger -look this one has laid an egg and has it's own drinking straw! Given a bassoon looks like a bunch of fire-wood - Oh but I forgot that's why the Italians called them Faggotti - no offense meant it is a wonderful sound, and the Rite of Spring just would not be the Rite of Spring without the Bassoon Solo at the start!
