There are 2 violins in the window of the Cancer Research shop - why why why does my brain think oooooh I wonder how much they want for them when I have never ever had any interest in learning the violin.

Must remain strong and remember I don't have sufficient time to practise the instruments I already play.

I saw a tuba in a shop window the other day and saw the same thing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) I am not sure I have ever wanted to play the tuba?

Items like this sometimes turn out to be bargains.

Recently I found an old book of Musical Quotations, I have for a while been putting two at the bottom of my signature, and changing them every few days. Hope you like them. I am going to change the old ones now.

Duck....

EDIT: Thought I'd better explain....
"Gear Acquisition Syndrome" a well known, mostly male affliction. Often erroneously mis-attributed as 'guitar acquisition syndrome". There is no known cure.

It's pretty safe. If a new instrument appears in the house in 2012 it will probably be a tenor sax (and/or a sop with a more even scale than mine).

Even at 75% off? Mind you, wouldn't 75% off a sofa make it an armchair?...

I don't know how they dare to tell us that they usually sell a sofa for ?999, but will still make a profit if they sell it at ?400.

I am wondering what next door is having for dinner, because their smoke alarm has gone off three times in the last hour
