The BBC and other broadcasters seem to be a little less unanimous in their pronunciation of 21st century years.but in my opinion only a masochist would say two thousand and twelve. It was a BBC reporter that confused me by saying two-thou etc. Thanks for the clarification, feeling much better about life now. |

Which ones? Have 2011 Grade 1,2 and 3 papers and Take Five and Pass First Time (not that I intend to take 5 at all!) It looks much more user friendly than the AB pink and blue books. Already have grades 1-5 workbooks that have been thumbed through (books 1-3 anyway). |

I'm awfully puzzled by all the username changes of late. I know I can't talk in the slightest, but its funny how differently you read posts, when the name is unfamiliar, as opposed to someone's whose writing has been familiar for years!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Me too! It's like a cabinet reshuffle around here. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) I suppose Tequila was inspired by her pal Sunrise. I keep getting emails from Saga, offering me insurance and holidays at a discounted rate because of my age (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) I've never had an email from Saga, ever... I started to receive mailings from them after my 50th - I always exclude myself from 'marketing opportunities' on anything I use so I don't know how they sussed that one. |

Friend of mine just had a daughter and posted this on Facebook. I left him a comment saying "Congratulations", and the person right after me who left the same message is my ex whom I don't talk to any more (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Nothing bad, just a bit unexpected to see that particular name which I haven't thought of for years.
