I hope I do alright this afternoon, and don't fudge things up at my teachers house... My Jacobs is starting to play up, and that's not a good sign.

QUOTE(fsharpminor @ Jan 9 2012, 10:23 PM) *

Hmmm Angela Merkel - not sure if I'd want to meet her on a dark night, but not as fearsome as Maggie T.

I know what you mean. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Somehow I always think Angela Merkel would look more at home chairing a PCC meeting than running one of the world's biggest economies.

I would far rather bump in to Sarah Palin on a dark night, but I wouldn't want to discuss [her brand of] politics. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Whilst we're on the subject of odious right-wing extremists, Ann Widdecombe and 'denizens of the night' have a similarity about them, even Michael Howard noticed it, which convinced me that yes Conservatives DO get it right on some issues....

I went to the gym for the first time ever today. Well, I had an induction anyway. I have decided I need to become more active, just because I don't do anything. I don't need to lose weight but could do with being fitter.

I just hope I will get used to the equipment. It was a lot to take in tonight. Plan is to go early in the morning to avoid people!

I think that's because there's no Forumite birthday today (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) so it disappears
