I got bitten by a DUCK today (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) If something's going to bite you, it may as well be something impressive like a shark or lion or something...not a DUCK!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

presumably, though, there are more ducks in Cambridge than there are lions and sharks?
no passing through polar bears perhaps... ?

I know someone who was bitten by a mole. He went to the doctor to see if he should be worried about rabies, but the doctor just fell of his chair laughing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Oh please no... I spent far too much time last week discussing what a Jersey cow was doing in (presumably) Austrian mountains in "An Austrain went Yodelling" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

Yes, I know I'm strange (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I got attacked by a couple of these geese last summer. I was at Chevin Lodge Hotel , Otley (I`alternate it with Haleys in Headingley) and took a walk round the smalll lake. Two of them came rushing toward me, necks cranedout forward, and honking like mad. I guess they had a nest nearby. I fled the way I had come !

I don't really see eye to eye* with my little younger brother when he's at home, but he's gone away for a few days for the first time without the rest of us and is really homesick, and I've suddenly realised how much I miss him. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

*understatement...

What a lovely post, Miss Ross! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It took me much longer than you to realise that it was good to have a brother! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

The older I get, though, the more I realise that for me happiness is related to the number of people I love and who love me; blood is definitely thicker than water.

That said, I bet half an hour after he's home you're wishing he'd go away again!!
