Husband has just had to move his Monday job to tomorrow. It's in Fleet Street.
So he's said do I want to come along, and spend the day in London...as in, he'll work while I wander about, then we'll meet after he's finished and wander about a bit together.
Which sounds lovely, but I bet I just end up in Foyles or the Early Music Shop spending a fortune (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) If I could think of something to do other than wandering around shops...!

... and the problem is? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I was going to write something pithy before I set off for my summer school week tomorrow. Unfortunately, I'm having a senior moment and I can't remember what it was I was going to write (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I have a most enterprising cat. Came down this morning to find I had forgotten to replace the litter tray after cleaning it. The dog's empty biscuit bowl was nolonger empty. But at least there was no puddle on the floor!

That's not going to foster good feline-canine relations in your house!

I wasn't aware such a thing existed.. which routes do Virgin run??

Crosscountry, and I think First Great Western are the ones I'm most familiar with. And unimpressed with on a regular basis!

Virgin have run the so called 'West Coast' main line for many years.
This is Euston to Manchester, and Liverpool, and up to Preston, Carlisle and Glasgow. They use those Pendolino tilting trains, and they are excellent. I cannot see First service being any better.

I am remotely setting up a laptop in Johannesburg. I am in London and it is taking looooooooong! Mainly due to the distance between these two great cities.

Also London-West Midlands, and Birmingham-NW England/Glasgow. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
