Snow makes happy folk happier and miserable ones even worse than usual. Excellent. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) |

The light seems totally different when there's snow on the ground, and everything is transformed from it's everyday appearance.

An exciting radio debate apropos of the use of the apostrophe in place names was within my earshot last night. Did anyone else end up exposed to it? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) *Sorry if this really belongs in the envelope thread. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) Maybe we could have a campaign to remove all the apostrophes in the word "it's" which should be "its" on this forum. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Apologies, Tortellini. I'm normally a great stickler for punctuation myself, but with the best will in the world occasionally an apostrophe creeps in. I blame the lateness of the hour for that last gaffe! |

I spent today being called Miss Ross and teaching children to write (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) At ballet, I get called Miss Carol and they have to curtsey to me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I'm thinking of implementing it in other areas of my life as well... Just played Etude all the way through with minimum problems - where the heck did that come from?! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
It's the one piece we've been avoiding because I just couldn't get my head round it at all, then I just 'get' it without even trying...this restarting business never ceases to amaze me. One minute I can't do something at all, next minute something clicks and I can suddenly do it to quite a reasonable standard. Still...relearning all this stuff after 14 years was never going to be a logical process, was it? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) |

I think it's the free breakfast handed out by the CU outside the library on a Wednesday that makes me get up for my 9:15 seminar... So, of course I'm not complaining... but why on earth do they do it? They're always giving away free things, we have a note on our door from a boy downstairs requesting that the CU be allowed to come into our flat on Friday night and cook a meal for us!
It's lovely, but why?! |

Last night I had a dream, in which I was playing a Paetzold great bass recorder.
This was a happy event, but not entirely 100% brilliant because someone else in the room got the Moeck non-mutant equivalent to play with. But it was jolly very happy. I think my subconscious is aware I have a bonus coming up soon (to which I reply - no, no, no, no, no, there are far too many sensible things I need to do with proper amounts of money) |
