Well it would probably be less random with an explanation.

Council for British Archaeology?
Cost-benefit analysis?
Canal Boatbuilder's Association?

Or just a little tune?

In my area of work it stands for Computer Based Applications with basically means software for data analysis.

Perhaps the notes Miss Ross has been playing on her new flute?

Can't be arsed.

Not sure people were actually asking, but that's what it means. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Miss R, hope you're ok!

I've just had yet another "driveway restoration" leaflet dropped through my door (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I *like* my drive.

I can't see any reason why anyone would think it needs "restoring" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I don't know what it means for Miss Ross but down here it's the name of a very large builders' s and DIY supplier.

I should be working. My computer has been playing up and I have spent working time sorting it out.
Now I am going to spend working time watching the France v England rugger match.
Tomorrow I shall be in a work panic.

Ooh, I caused some discussion!

(Lucy's interpretation was right, incidentally!)

Enjoy the rugby, Aquarelle!

My tutor told me to completely eliminate a term from my essays, as I used it too often. I duly took it out, but apparently just mentally replaced it with a different one, and having just reread, before my tutorial, it appears that I have used the same word seventeen times. That's 2.9 times per page.
Fabulous. I wonder if she won't notice...

Does a layer of matt varnish over a later of gloss varnish result in a mostly matt finish?

For my sake.. I'm desperately hoping so (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

It should do. Might need a second coat of matt, though

Eee, what have you been up to, Lottie? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Is this art, or a violin/viola or some combination of the two? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I have the weirdest cold ever. I have the sore throat, the painful ears, the edge-of-headache, the sensitive skin, the tiredness, the aching all over.
But I don't have a runny nose or a cough.
My husband got ill first, and he seems to have had everything. Whereas, I feel dreadful but have pretty much no external symptoms of being ill...
