Why has one of my best friends texted me to tell me that I should enter the TV competition to become the next member of the Loose Women team? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

YOu can't go on that tripe Ratty. You are far to clever for that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

So obviously Ratty's friend was paying her a huge compliment, because only Ratty can raise the tone of our daytime television to the sort of level where it should be (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) You haven't seen Ratty going after legs like I have... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I went into a shoe shop today. As I paid for my shoes, a man with his young son was at the counter. The assistant asked if she could help...he said he wanted a pair of size 8's for his son.

"In what?" Says the assistant.

"Shoes" replied the dad! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

*I laughed but no-one else did... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) *

"How do they take those tablets then?"

"They swallow them."

We were at a zoo once, looking at wallabies.. Someone turned up by the enclosure and said "Look at the rabbits!"

That's a nice compliment but I suspect that I really wouldn't. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Me too, hence why I'm on the forum rather than sending work related e-mails. It's Friday afternoon, and I've been very confused all week as to the day of the week because of having had Easter Monday off!

I want to go home and watch the last two episodes of my Spooks boxset (series 6).

I have had an amusing quote in my head all day: "I quite fancy Hufflepuff: I've always thought they just sit around all day making things with safety scissors and glitter". (Quote by Andrea Riseborough as Annie in the Being Human pilot episode, in response to the question what house would you be in if you went to Hogwarts) and keep giggling at random intervals as a result.

Have you not already started your dissertation, Nicki? Our lot start theirs in the 2nd year social research module and so they've already had to hand in their project proposals and literature reviews last term?

That's early - I didn't start my dissertation until the 2nd semester in 3rd year!
