Don't worry Matthew, I am off to bed now, and so should Floss. She is up far too late, so I am putting my foot down, as I am old enough to be her Mum. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
Night Floss. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

I don't honestly know if your hands will be big enough. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) My clari isn't the best in this respect, because it's quite old and keywork designs have improved a lot - but I find my clari a bit of a stretch for a couple of the keys. You need to be able to cover the holes completely on the clari. Can you reach okay on a treble recorder? just about... This is my worry too. Barry reckons I'd be ok, but I do have my doubts. Guess we'll find out at Leeds! Do you have really tiny hands? I could span all the keys on my clarinet (a really old buffet or boosey and hawkes thing that had not been entirely well looked after to start - schhol's instrument - and after a Yamaha student one) at the age of 9/10 ish (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) |

Umm, yep I have tiny hands. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) I can manage flute ok, and treble recorder just about depending on how I've put on the footjoint. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
How big is a clarinet? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) |

I wouldn't mind having so much stuff to do, if only instead of all of them being 'urgent' someone would actually take the time to tell me which is MOST urgent.
(There's a meeting this afternoon - I will demand answers then as to what order they want things addressed in!) |

I found my favourite real ale in JS at the weekend - it does not taste like it does when I buy it from the brewery - why?

Possibilities: 1. You are sitting too near the fire - and this weather, who could blame you! 2. Hay fever 3. You were too late to bed last night. 4. Someone unkind has thrown sand/acid/orange juice into them 5. Other (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Skylark says she favours the LeBlanc because the keywork suits small hands (I think (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) that was why anyway - check out my old thread about upgrading (July 08) as she mentioned it on there (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ) It really did NOT suit me anyway (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) |

Although, I do quite like the idea of saying "5. Other - beginnings of spontaneous combustion (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) |
