I don't really want to be a maestro, so I guess I'll have to not post again. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wave.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

Something happened at work today, that made me realize yet again that we should enjoy life and go at it full pelt. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

NOt to me, Barry, but I say, if you fancy a hot air balloon ride, or to do something special within your financial reach, then go for it and do it now.
I just need to find some energy to do this now, and will make a start by having an earlyish night. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

There's so much I want to do still. Life is there to use to the full, and I'll try 'n' cram it full of good stuff (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Yep, this is why I love reckless/fun pursuits (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Go throw yourself out of planes, go flying, hang-gliding, zorbing, karting, bungee jumping, track days etc etc (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I never understand why people say "I would do it but... <insert pathetic excuse here>".

The only problem is that once you start enjoying all those adrenaline highs, normal life seems quite dull (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I always wondered where my life was lacking - now I fathom that it is a shortage of death-defying stunts and high-octane pursuits that has contributed to my deprivation all this time! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I'm not sure I'd know where to begin a search for planes to jump out of! Having said that, I'd probably only consider it if I realised that I didn't actually want to go to Tunisia anyway, for instance, and I'd have to be pretty biased against the nation for which I was heading, as me vertigo kicks in upon reaching the peak of our step ladder when changing lightbulbs and such...

Still, I would heartily advocate that you jump in with both feet while the going is good, Bazza! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I have no intention of jumping out of anything. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
I would like to drive a steam engine, have a hot air balloon ride, and go to the Rockies in Canada again.

It's good - it's like suicide without the nasty, dying bit (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) The first time you do it your brain goes "WHAT THE ###### HAVE YOU JUST DONE!" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Yes, but my brain thinks that every time I have to accompany the children on a white knuckle ride cos my Barry won't go on with them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Fortunately for me our children were all born before they invented white knuckle rides, so I didn't have that problem, but I know I would have been the same as Barry over it. As a result, we have the two older lads who hate these rides, but the youngest, Edward, is an adrenaline junky! His idea of living was to go to New Zealand and jump off or out of everything that they offered. Still, he comes in very handy when our grandchildren say "will you take me on that ride please grandad?". (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I feel your pain. Only once to the Rockies is a sub-standard affair indeed; the resort of second-class citizens and poor labourers. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Sorry mw1, it was in 1992, and I really want to go again. Can't afford it at the moment though. Cornwall here we come. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Have to make do with Bedruthan Steps, Port Issac and cream teas.....can't be bad then.

I even had to go on Space Mountain at Disney Paris.........without the children. That was a bet. When I got off , some teenagers were lying on the platform, and they couldn't walk. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

The BBC Radio 4 Weather forecast is becoming rather vague.
