That's one way to do it! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I don't drink though, and I am only 16 anyway, so I think me downing a bottle of Champagne at regular intervals might be frowned upon! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Sleeping on that flight really isn't that easy, even in Business Class it's still noisy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Next time I go on such a long flight, I will definitely do a stop-over for a night or two somewhere like Hong Kong.

We're flying with Emirates. If you fly First Class, you get these Anti-Social private rooms to sit in!

Hrm part of the fun sometimes though can be chatting to interesting people - it has the added bonus of making a bit of time fly by too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I've met some really cool people on flights (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

1st class would be a no-no for me, ridiculously expensive and you're basically subsidising Economy - I'd rather spend the cash on activities at my destination! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

"It has the added bonus of making a bit of time fly by too- Was that pun intended? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

We're flying economy, there's six people in my family, and it was about £11,000 for all the flights we're doing! Thats only economy class, I dread to think how much first class would have cost! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

I like buisness class, we got bumped up into it free of charge when we went to America 10 years ago. There were about 10 buttons on my chair and I pressed every single one of them when I got on, and two people came running up to me looking worried! Nobody told me what the buttons actually did! Hahahaha! Yeah the reclining seats/pods are great (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Your gaffe reminds me of the time I used the disabled toilet in a pub once and accidentally set of the alarm because I thought the cord was for the light... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)

I did economy to Thailand once. As I'm 6'2 it wasn't very nice (I checked in too late to get an emergency exit seat) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Premium economy is alright and not much more expensive if there's 1 or 2 of you. I would have like to have upgraded to 1st but I don't think I could have afforded it... the flights were paid for by my firm but I reckon from Business > 1st is still a good few thousand.

Make sure you do your exercises to stop your legs getting numb (and also to prevent DVT). Take a few aspirin as well (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) People must have thought I was mad on my Oz flight as I kept walking around and doing jogging on the spot etc to keep my legs from going numb (surprised I didn't topple over with the booze they were giving me!)

You hold an icon down a little longer than usual and they all quiver charmingly - then you can move them about or delete them with the little x. Magic!

When I was little (~8) I remember we were on a flight and I went to use the toilet on my own. After I washed my hands I went to dry them and the towel dispenser looked a bit weird. I wasn't sure how to get them out so I thought you must press a button or something and they come out. I pressed the button and nothing happened so then I pressed it again, still nothing... Then one of the stewardesses knocks on the door, it turns out I had pressed the emergency cabin assistance button! QUOTE(pianist_flautist @ Aug 9 2009, 11:54 PM) *

I remember having teeth out! I had the ones right near the back out and was awake for the whole thing. I had two out in one session, and then went back for the other two the next week, so I knew what was coming the next time, and the dentist kindly gave me the week to worry about it! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) The crunching is awful! What's worse in when I had mine out, I apparently have HUGE roots much bigger than the average adult, and my teeth are very strong too, and they couldn't get the top one out for ages, and the dentist was so tired she had to call in another dentist. This new dentist was a MASSIVE woman who came in, held onto my forehead grabbed my tooth and wrenched so hard my head was going side to side! Through all of this, I was just sat that being thrown around! I felt SO sick that whole afternoon and the pain was AWFUL despite pain killers! I feel ill just thinking about it! And I can still taste the strawberry gel they put on the gum before the injections! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ill.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ill.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ill.gif)

Awww (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) , I've had overall.... *counts in mouth* 6 teeth pulled out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) I was awake for them all but they were all milk teeth (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

I had my first out when I was 6 or 7. All I can really remember is when I sat down, I was clutching a tiny teddy I'd made myself, which I took to all hospital/doctor/dentist apps. The dentist came over and said "Now, let's give teddy to mummy so that we don't get any blood on him" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) then they started pulling them out, and it hurt so cried a LOT and I remember the nurse person pleading with me to stop, and mopping my face up with tissues (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I REFUSED to let them pull out any more after that. But then 6 years later I was summoned to have another 2 out. (These 3 were all molars, and pulled because they came through with very very little enamel, so rotted and got infected) These hurt a lot too. I remember squeaking when he started pulling, and he said "you can feel that?" I nodded, so he stuck an injection in the roof of my mouth (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ill.gif) I'd convinced myself that it was only because I was little that it hurt so much, but I was wrong.

Then another year later, a few months ago, my orthodontist said I needed to have three out, two canines and another molar- all on top. (This was to do with braces...) it didn't hurt at all! Which was great.

But then on my top teeth I had my four front teeth, then on right hand I was missing three teeth in a row, and left was one tooth missing, tooth there, tooth missing. Luckily two teeth have grown in since... but when I smile, it still looks like I've only got 4 top front teeth (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

I actually enjoyed having two of my molars removed - and was also awake throughout. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Was I unwise to respond to personal messages here after three glasses of red wine? Probably not but thank you anyway. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) You made my day. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

ENJOYED?! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

How exactly? What can be enjoyable about being pinned down in a chair andhaving long pointy metal things jammed into your gums, then having a pair of pliers shoved into your mouth to push and pull the teeth backwards and forwards and twist them around until eventually the satisfying crunching sound of bone being ripped/cracked apart occurs, and the teeth are literally ripped out of the socket.

Sorry, am I missing something here?

I don't know, I just liked it! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

Also, the dentist and nurse spent most of the time talking about how nice my eyes are and telling me to stop scrunching them shut because they were too nice to hide. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
