My consumption has gone right down since starting the piano. Means when I do go out I'm a much cheaper date though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I'm quite enjoying having a clear head and not making a *** of myself for a change (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Methinks if I start a 2nd instrument I'll not drink much at all anymore. I go through phases where I'm usually designated driver so no-one will bat an eyelid. |

Playing in bars nearly every weekend means a great deal of willpower is needed, something I seriously need more of (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) |

Why do wasps always fly at me? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) They ignore my office mate. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Are you wearing yellow? I find wasps are terribly fond of yellow for some reason... I wasn't wearing yellow on Saturday and it still seemed to be love at first sight for that wasp I tried to release outside the restaurant! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) |

I find wasps are terribly fond of yellow for some reason... No. I'm wearing purple and yesterday I was wearing turquoise. I'm transcribing interviews at the moment which means I have headphones on and can't hear them buzzing until they are virtually on me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Am getting very spooked now. |

QUOTE Making a Water Wasp Trap - Cut off the top portion of a 2-liter plastic bottle at the shoulder. Fill the bottom half of the cut bottle with water. Throw away the screw top. Use jam to coat the neck of the bottle, and inverting it set it back into the bottle. Use tape to hold the inverted half in place. The wasps, attracted by the jam, will go down the neck of the bottle, and will fall into the water and drown. Or use repellent (not DEET)? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Wasps are predatory and keep other insect populations down, apparently. They still seem like a massive nuisance, though. |
