QUOTE(Flossie @ Dec 31 2010, 02:39 PM) *

I had a dream last night that I was playing a brass instrument. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I can't remember entirely what it was, but it was a smaller instrument and wasn't a trumpet so I think it must have been a tenor horn. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I had a musical dream too.. I was supposed to play the piano, and I was wearing this ludicrous outfit that consisted of yellow and green striped trousers with a purple top. For some reason I was prevented from performing and was quite annoyed about this. I wonder if the outfit had anything to do with it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Well, you now know what to wear if you ever want to get out of doing a performance. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I've just been listening to tenor horns. They sound very nice. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

Anything to do with tenors is bound to sound very nice. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Were you wearing boxing gloves as part of this outfit? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Someone has set off a load of fireworks at the back of our house. At a quarter to January it seems a bit strange timing - should have done it at a quarter past November.

No... and in fact I've remembered some more of it. There were other people either in the audience or performing (though I don't remember on what instruments) and they were wearing similarly loud clothing, other combinations of yellow, green and purple figured extensively.

(if I scour charity shops between now and February maybe I can find the outfit for Egham (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) but then I'd be thrown off stage. again.)

That'd sell extra tickets, so you won't get thrown off stage.....

I guess it'd be a variation on the old trick of distract them with what you're wearing - I knew a few female musicians who did actually attempt this (self-confessed). I don't think this is what they meant though...
