I sent an email drawing attention to the offending note.........I'm guessing that it was overlooked as it is rather unexpected. I bet it's a lovely, lovely note. And I bet it's FUN (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Been told to leave it alone for now. It's the final note so the rest is not off limits. You can use your imagination as to the beauty of that final note (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Please join me in a drink to celebrate my seventh anniversary on the forums - *hands round glasses* ... and a huge thank you to all forum friends for so much advice, support, amusement, cake, etc etc. cheers! ! I got to play the new baby grand piano at school today, and to be totally honest, I didn't like it!! It's got a lovely tone, but what the touch I would play with for forte on the uprights downstairs barely even made a sound on this piano!! (Granted, I do have a very very light touch). It's beautifully shiny, but I don't think I'm a fan (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rofl.gif) Aww, I know how you feel! But... it might not be the piano's fault. If you get used to playing with a deeper tone (which comes in handy, since most good grand pianos require a deeper touch than uprights), you will ultimately be rewarded! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Ahh, I shall bear that one in mind, I bet it'll come in handy! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) My music teacher plays with enough force to maim a small child, so maybe I should take a leaf out of his book (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rofl.gif) |

It gets better with practice believe me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) You'll probably end up wanting one like I do (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) |

It could well be that what sounds forte to the audience doesn't sound forte to you. Also, the piano itself, if it is new, will need time to settle. It may feel very different in a year's time. |
