My next door neighbour is one of the misuse of firewworks brigade and it terrifies my animals. I have to take off in the car with trembling dog and hide in a dark valley. Count me in

On the one or two occasions we've set off fireworks, we've gone around all the neighbours who we know have pets to let them know. That way it's their problem if they haven't moved "bunny" and "bunny" is terrified. Thats the responsible thing to do. Honestly Gandalf gets so scared he hides under the bed so the last thing I want to do is put myself in a position where the neighbours have not had the oppourtunity to move their guinea pigs into the garage that night to try to soften the blow.

I didn't mind a few beeing set off on Halloween. It was probably the local wiccans. Similarly at Eid it will be the local muslims, and I don't mind New Years Eve either, but continually from September to New Year is a bit much. Actually, I'd say wiccans would be more likely to be the ones celebrating Samhain quiety than setting off most of the fireworks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) |

Don't forget to add me too. The village eisteddfod is on today and some twits are setting off fireworks just outside of the hall. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)
