Ah and Willard should be proud cos it was Willard Major who got the merit and Willard Minor who got one of the distinctions!

Well, still no sign of my result from the 6th December (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
I phoned the AB yesterday and they said the result is undergoing "checks" and this is because I registered a complaint about the way the exam was conducted. I will NEVER complain again as it just seems to hold the result up. (We need the results for a school application that needed to be in today and I can't complete it now. AB won't tell me the result over the phone (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) )

We will be going back to Trinity Guildhall next term.

I was surprised to find that there was no such thing as an estimated date when results would be made available. I can understand exceptions, but it is not impossible for an examining body to give a date or a window when results will be made available.

Like kixmusic, here we sit and wait, with no idea when results should even be expected. Can't complain, because of course we were never given even a month when results should be available. (There are guidelines in the UK exam regs, but nothing at all in the international exam regs.)

I'm horrified to read in several posts of foreign theory candidates waiting 10 weeks for the results of a short-answer written test - even in countries with numerous candidates and/or closer to the UK.

If the results aren't here in time for the next round of exam applications, I imagine that TG will be getting our custom as well as kixmusic's.

Now I think I'll go away for a while, until I can think of something nice to say! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I've found that too! Goodness! The school are putting their application in early! Sometimes a phone call can inject a little urgency into the process, so maybe after your call yesterday, the results will appear today.

Sorry, noodle, I wasn't very clear about the school application. We are applying for a music scholarship for next academic year and thats what we needed the result for. Euphonium is my daughter's second study instrument and I don't yet know if we can go for a joint first study (she is doing G7 trombone next term) as we don't know if she has passed her G5 Euph (minimum level required for the scholarship)

I complained about how an exam was conducted but I waited until we had the result (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) I knew the result would be needed. I think it's about 4 weeks since the formal proceedure started but I've not heard anything other than it's being looked at.

We've still not got our results (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Our exams were on 7th December and the results were out before Christmas - though I've only just got them because they went to the school who entered them.

I was astonished that my grade 2 oboist, who I expected to get a pass, merit if lucky, got 130!! I heard quite a bit of her playing through the door and didn't think she played that well! Ah well, compensation for the times when you think they'll get a merit/distinction and they only get a pass, I suppose....

I'm bored of waiting now!! Do you think we should tell them to forget and ask for our money back (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ? It seems results from the 13th were available last Thursday so it's nearly a week later now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) . Maybe there is some sort of problem with one of them.
