(IMG:style_emoticons/default/dust.gif) If you've got some good news and you don't particularly want to start a thread about it, or if you just feel happy today, let's hear it! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I feel happy today because I saw the first pink cherry blossom in flower and Spring is in the air! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hurrah.gif)

It's now noticeably later in the day that it becomes really dark. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I think I suffer (but probably only in a minor way) from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), and it's amazing what a difference a longer bit of daylight can make.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/niceThread.gif) Count your blessings, I say! Today is good because my son had an A2 Chemistry module (a bit of a scary one for him) this morning and thinks it went well - hooray! Also, it's not raining, so my imminent visit to the council rubbish tip will be drier than I feared! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I think I do too, and I agree. Several of my pupils are commenting too ' oh - it was dark when I went home last week and today it's not quite dark " : )

I just got back from town with new glasses - the first I've had for 5 years (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

My eyesight is twice as bad now... but I got nice new frames that don't show up the half inch thick lens, or the "giant eye" so much (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

I had a really good, fun driving lesson. In French we watched Alvin and the Chipmunks, and later I'm going to my musical theatre group. Also, I went into town with a couple of friends and had a nice chat 3rd period today, which was nice.

I managed to make a start on another movement of my composition. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Had some rather good French results too - I may be smiling for another few hours. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Alvin and the Chipmunks, in French?! Wow! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Firstly, I got 3 surprisingly good exam results back!

Secondly, our new pieces for orchestra are lovely:
Rachmaninov piano concerto no. 2
Koussevitzky double bass concerto
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) although my sight reading was shocking! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

The sun and blue sky (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

My friends making an effort to cheer me up because they knew I was a bit blue yesterday...

The fact that the above worked and I was happy despite some people trying there best to get me down... or so it seemed... well it made me more happy, and I was in fact in a very good mood by the time I went home (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
