My Year 5 Recorder Group bouncing in and saying in chorus "good afternoon, Miss Razzle-Dazzle!!"

I dunno why they call me this, they jus' do.

They're fab actually - playing in 4 parts and I love them (but don't tell 'em (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) )

You've not been covering yourself in sequins have you? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It's nice when something like that happens

Having a productive day has made me happy.

And swimming 20 lengths of the pool.

And sticking to the diet....

....so far! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

One thing I can say is not in my wardrobe is a be-sequinned shirt. Yes, some worryingly florid silk ones suitable for tropical climes - so they never get worn - but definitely no sequins (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Playing bits of the piano part of the Brahms Horn Trio which now seems only "very difficult" rather than "blasted impossible"

Sight reading effectively, Chopin's Op. 67 No.4. OK I know it's not that difficult as Chopin goes but a year ago I couldn't even contemplate learning the piece, never mind sight reading it to a passable standard. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

......... A joke sent to me by a family member.

A coffin was gently lowered into the ground at a Traffic Warden's funeral, his cap balanced on the polished wood casket.

All of a sudden there was a scream and banging from inside the coffin. "Let me out, I'm not dead, I'm not dead!"

The elderly Priest leaned forward over the grave, and with a wry smile said, "I very sorry Sir, but the paperwork has already been done. You'll just have to explain it to the Judge". (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

After a really rubbish day, the buses finally co-operated and I got home an hour earlier than I usually do - which meant I had an hour to catch up on some violin practice and it was lovely (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
