yes I am a lucky guy.

I know what you mean about the car. I watched my neighbour chucking some hot water over his windscreen the other day. I thought doing that would shatter the windscreen, but it didn’t. I don’t think I will try it.

I thought I wouldn't have enough music for the woodwind ensemble to play on the open nights this week, but as it happens, I have plenty! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) One less thing to worry about... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I have a hanging basket by my front door, at the moment it has lots of pansies in it.
When it has been cold overnight, the pansies have flopped down but then got back upright during the daytime.
But for the last week, with it being cold all day, the poor pansies have just been flopped the whole time. I thought they must have got so cold that they were done for.

And I left the house this morning, and they were all perked up again! Which made me smile (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) to have some colourful flowers back. I'll water them when I get home, now I know it's not going to freeze in to a solid block overnight!

My husband does this every time his car gets iced up and (so far - but we are talking decades!) it's never shattered the windscreen. Yet I still refuse to do it to my own windscreen, as I feel it ought to shatter it! Is this just me refusing to learn from experience? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Today I finished off dozens of boring old chores so tomorrow I can start a new project of work and I'm really excited (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

(I also feel a great sense of achievement from thoroughly cleaning my oven this morning (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/party1.gif) )

Oh, oh oh and then I had a GREAT practice session with my violin and continued knitting my sock this evening so I'm really happy now... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

A commission to sketch a pub so that they can hang it on the wall inside in case the locals forget what the outside looks like. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
