That really is amazing- the pilot is being hailed as a hero.
Quite rightly he is. But precious few people are mentioning the co-pilot, who should be given just as much credit!

There, I've given him a public shout! So that's made me happy (along with some of my code having done the magic "leave it overnight and it might work in the morning" thing)

Finally received my exam dates today! Grade 3 Singing on 16/2, Grade 6 Piano on 27/2.

I am glad I have at least a month to the actual dates. Should be easier to book venue trials this time round.

And my ex-colleague has agreed to be my accompanist! It is her first time too, so we are both excited (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I forgot to mention this.

I know i'm going to sound like a freak, but, my grandad was there in spirit today with me in my Spanish speaking exam. I know he was. I could feel him there next to me and when I was getting lost with words, he have me the words I needed. Thank you grandad, i'll always love you x

That's lovely...I feel my dad around me sometimes, and he passed away in 1983. Good luck for the rest of your exams! x

Some friends who were more supportive than I thought they were going to be (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) not that they're not supportive, they're fab, just, that it made me smile when they were more supportive than I was expecting (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

A really good jazz class. The right combination of playing stuff we were comfortable with and being pushed to do new things. I feel as though I've learnt something today.
