Teaching the most gorgeous and rewarding children all morning...and having some more really gratifying feedback about 'Jolly Music'.

One of the highlights of last week's Leeds concert (and there were *many*, but one of them...) was Amber and Barry-clari singing Offenbach's Barcarolle, it was just beautiful.

Thanks skylark.

Want to duet with Amber again, want to duet with Amber again! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

And the reason why you had more good feedback about Jolly Music is because it's so flippin' wonderful, and it needs to be viewed by every primary school in the country...

A 'phone call from the father of my new male student I went to yesterday. Apparently son has had three teachers ( (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) ) in the past and has now found "the one who he has been most relaxed and happy with" !! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

For the first time ever at the weekend, my family thought I was a proper player instead of just a beginner - I played a little programme for them, well-known songs and classics, and they were, like, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) , is that really you (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I know it was the other day, but it still makes me happy today! Listening to Made In Heaven when I got in after a long day and it actually putting a smile on my face, even though I've listened to it hundreds of times over the years.

Spending 6 hours on a bus - boring, for a 1 hour piano lesson (first for 60 years) - interesting, and then I have to do it all again in a fortnight. Well, I don't have to but I must if I am to improve!

6 hours! wow - that's a long commute! Still, it must be worth it. All the best for your new venture!

Three lessons that went really well and three pupils who had done some practice and were a treat to listen to.
