I just got my OU A214 result and I got 81 % and got a first- dead chuffed! Wow well done Nicki you must be ecstatic! I am- not quite sure how it happened 'cos I substituted TMA 07 and TMA 08 wasn't great! I want to do the course you are doing next ET- you'll have to tell me how it goes- I'm just scared as I found working over the summer really hard with 3 kids around and it was hard work at the end!!! The next time it runs Nicki will be Oct 2011 so it wont run through the summer, should help you? Haven't even started yet! and I so much wanted to be well ahead! Booking my holiday to Borneo for next month. Yippee! No snow there. Enjoy, my neighbours are off in a couple of weeks on some cruise, carribean I think, somewhere exotic anyway, they have got the right idea! lol It has just been announced that Flyb will be running from Gatwick to Limoges for July and August 2010, I may actually manage to get out and see my grown up son for a weekend! |

Listening to Faure's Romance Sans Paroles (Opus 17, No 3) which is on the alternative pieces for Trinity Guildhall Grade 7 piano. Finding copy of the music online and trying to play it. I have decided it is such a beautiful piece that I will do it for my exam (although I did grade 7 in 1991 I am doing it again). It is almost as lovely as one of the other pieces I have chosen, Poulenc Nocturne no 8.
Now I have to make my mind up whether to look at Heller, Epilogue no 25 instead of a Kuhlau sonata which I have been working on. The Faure will replace my previous choices which were going to be either Chopin Mazurka in A minor or Tchaikovsky April, from the seasons. So much choice this time round. There certainly wasn't this sort of choice when I last did the exam. |

I have LOADS of money... I just need to figure out what that little 'DR' thing after my balance means... Or that "-" they put on my paper statements before the figure...
Very confusing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) |
