What made me happy today? Managing to register on here after my last attempt a few weeks ago must've slipped down the back of the administrator's sofa! Hello! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/newHere.gif)

1. Receiving a lovely card from someone who is not in the best of health themselves. I really appreciate that. Thank you. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

2. Managing to walk to the end of my road and back. It took me half an hour ( (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) ) instead of five minutes, but at least I did it.

3. Going out for a short drive with my sister.

4. Managing one piece on the piano

Progress is being made, slow but sure! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/party1.gif)

Be careful, its by thinking you're old you become it! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I'm happy because I managed to have a decent conversation with one of my new housemates for next year. I hardly know his at all, so its something of a relief to have him here to drop off his stuff and check that he's human! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) I like the process of getting to know new people, what they're proud of, worry about, history etc... (Or maybe I'm just nosy...)

Even happier that my boyfriend is coming down for a bit tomorrow. Its been a month without him now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

So pleased to hear you're on the road to recovery, DC (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Next week should be less frustrating now you're able to do a bit more - make sure you don't overdo it though.
