Just played through, very slowly, first two pages of the Chopin A-flat major Polonaise with a huge smile (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I have always wanted to play this, and now it just looks very very difficult and not insanely impossible.

Running a really FABBY session for the Fast-Track CT ABRSM course in Birmingham today.

Huge group (must have been nearly 50) - and SOOO interested and enthusiastic that I got practically mobbed at the end!

VERY gratifying (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) .

Pity about the six hours of driving though...

Spending a whole day with lovely friends, including dinner at Bella Italia.
A brilliant wind orchestra concert.
A letter confirming that I have a sixth-form interview! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Going to try out new violas in Edinburgh today. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Will said potential new viola make the journey to Glasgow in April, lottie? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I didn't even take it home on trial although I did find one that was lovely (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) The full story is on the 'Strings' section.

Feel flat this morning (see above (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) ) but the SUN is out so that is making me smile (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Going riding with my friend on her pony, managing a walk and trot - with a saddle and without! It was quite nerve-wracking though! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

My lessons were good today but I only had a hand picked bunch today!
