Finally making it to Cairo Airport, after the most boring week, waiting to go home. I will be home tonight, imsh'allah (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif).

Today - having a good read of the forums - I've hardly posted in ages and haven't had much time to read, but I really should start posting more, so many lovely people and knowledge on here (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Also, still on a high from a fantastic day yesterday - had my first ever folk fiddle lesson, with one of the best young fiddle players in the country, who I really admire, then a fantastic gig in the evening (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I didn't realise till the video was put up that there was a camera in the church!

Could you also see that the 1st violins were not quite together right at the beginning? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Compare with a pro recording/orchestra and you will see what I mean! Anyway not too bad for 3 rehearsals and just 3 1st violinists. We have more but they didn't turn up.

It's very good : and I'm sure the extra violins will make the sound even bigger (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
