Hi all,
My mum has just found out that she has to have an operation in the next couple of months, which will involve her foot being broken and re-set (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) She is less worried about the op and more worried about the 6 weeks of boredom that will follow while she is laid up! Soooo I'm going to try and put together a folder of knitting patterns for her to keep her occupied. I've been to the sales and the local charity shops and I'm asking around at work but thought I'd ask you lovely people - if anyone has any patterns they no longer want and want to donate them to a good cause, please PM me. Doesn't matter if they're tatty or written on or whatever - the more the merrier! Thanks!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

I have my mum's collection of old knitting patterns somewhere - of which I'd be happy to pass on a few.
Any particular style or decade your mum would like ? Some of these go way back ... : ) |

I have patterns for knitting tiny clothes for prem babies - they're quick to do and hospitals are just so grateful for them . I've loads of patterns too. Get her some of these lovely wools you can get now - make scarves etc.
