forgive my asking, does anyone know if KJ is going? No, neither katyjay nor I will be at Leeds this year. NO!!!!....................I can't believe it - it won't be a proper forum concert without you!! you are absolutely right StuMac. Do we know why they aren't going or can we guess. Or has it something to do with security and bodyguards (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I shouldn't have thought they were the sort of people to be late with applications, though. They aren't troublemakers either.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I think you may be a bit behind the times in what you're thinking. I don't see any point in raking over old ground. The time to bury the hatchet and move on is long gone. |

I think you may be a bit behind the times in what you're thinking. I don't see any point in raking over old ground. The time to bury the hatchet and move on is long gone. Quite so (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I don't think it's fair to talk about anyone specifically, so I will simply say that by the time applications opened, there was no forum member who may have thought otherwise who was under the impression that they were not welcome at Leeds, and if any forum member is not attending Leeds, that is their own choice. NO!!!!....................I can't believe it - it won't be a proper forum concert without you!! I'm sorry you feel that way StuMac. As you know, I've exchanged numerous emails with you in an effort to be supportive and to try to ensure that you got as much out of the concert as possible so I'm sorry if you don't feel as if you're going to enjoy it after all. I'm sure the rest of us are going to enjoy ourselves though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

All I meant was that I would miss seeing 2 people who I have come to associate with these events. Now I look back at the post I can see that I could have expressed that feeling better but I didn't mean anything else by it. I'm sure it will be a fantasic day and I'm also sure I'll enjoy it. |

I'm sorry not to be going to Leeds to meet up with old friends, and I hope that everyone enjoys the event. Katyjay and I are both doing something else that day.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Now I'm going to turn on some Shakatak. I have a reputation to uphold. Not a stunningly great one, but there you go. Well, I was going to leave them at home, but your always wise advice has led me to conclude that I should bring them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) "Look, I see a body bearing Gama's arms..... .... and now I look more closely, I see attached to it King Gama's legs, from which I gather this corollary, the body is King Gama's own..." possibly a little mis-quoted |

And now back to Leeds!
If anyone is a happy bathtub singer please do join in the community choir. The song is really easy, the arrangement my own and fun, and simple to sing. I will recruit lots of new singers on the day. If you would like a copy beforehand send me your email address and I will return it. If you have finale printmusic you can hear it too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) PS Is Batty going to be legless? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) |
