Apparently it has already been offered unsuccessfully on both eBay and Freecycle. I have the owner's email address, so if you are interested in following this up please PM or email me. "Cavendish organ - well loved and played but just too big for us now. It has two manuals (keyboards), foot pedals, and effects including a rhythm section with tempo and volume controls. Would be ideal for beginner at home/community group/care home type scenario and I'd love to see it go to someone who will love and use it! It is big and heavy so collection would need to be in something more substantial than a car." I do hope this is an acceptable message as it's not actually for sale. I would really hate to see a working instrument dumped because the owner can't find a new home for it.

I think we got the princely sum of Â£50 for it, but they brought a van and the necessary wheels and manpower to remove it and I think they were going to restore it - it was a Compton with tone wheels and was an extremely heavy thing. Could you have a look in one of the magazines and see whether anyone will take it away for free?

Member No.: 5020	If anyone has an "aged" electronic organ for kind disposal, one can always try the "ORGANFAX" website or place a modestly priced ad. in the "ORGAN CAVALCADE" magazine. They have a web site also. Just Google the title in. My word - "Cavendish" organs were introduced to the unsuspecting organ-enthusiastic public in the early '70's. I was organ demonstrator/teacher for CAVENDISH ORGAN STUDIOS in the West End at the time. The organs were imported and marketed by Boosey & Hawkes of whom Cavendish Organs was a department. They were cheap and cheerful and b*****s to repair if anything went wrong! You've brought back very happy memories (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
