I have a buffet student model which i was given 5 years ago when i started flute. I am now playing at grade 4/5 standard and it has been suggested that i upgrade my flute to a imtermediate or professional model with silver head/ body. But do i go for a flute with ring/closed keys? or wat model should i get.
any ideas?? Mousey |

Hi, I play the flute as well, and am taking grade 5 this spring, i recently upgraded my old Buffet beginners flute to a Yamaha 311, which I find easier to play, and sounds alot better than my previous flute. You should go to a flute shop with your teacher, and try out different models, if you live anywhere near London, 'Topwind' is where I got my flute from.
Hope this helps :) Meg_lili |
