I must say, I do love strickly come dancing, but I've just noticed it starts on the same day as the single reed event...
I'll have to watch the first episode later on BBC iplayer. I'll make my mind up about the new celebs. when I see how they do. Regards Peter P.S. When I went to Wimbledon (Centre Court) this year, good old Brucie (nice to see you) was in the royal box along with Jimmy Tarbuck. |

Going to see the Eurovision Dance Contest on Saurday...(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
The UK entry is Vincent Simone, and Louisa Lytton who were in the semi-finals of Strictly just two years back...I'm so excited... |

Hmmm , I really cant see John Sargeant getting far. He was a stand up comedian in his earlier days.
Gary RHodes might turn out to be surprisingly good. Sportsman always do well, so Austin Healey, who I think came from the Wirral (I think Matt Dawson also lived here when a youngster), might also do well, as might Paul Daniels Not sure how good those ladies will be , maybe Christine Blakely will aslo do well. |

Well, we've had two contestants leave now. What are people's thoughts on the dancers in general?
I think all the ladies did pretty well, the only one that really stands out was Jessie being a little bit "lumpy", but certainly not like Fiona Phillips or Kate Garraway. I'm sad that Anton's gone, maybe one series they'll actually pair him up with someone who can dance. Cherie was very good, as was Rachel. We'll see how Cherie gets on with the latin dances and Rachel with ballroom. Lisa's not that great and Brendan was a bit grumpy! Jodie's not great either, she'll struggle with the latin dances, I think. Heather looks good, but will she have the poise for ballroom? Tom and Austin have to be the favourites from the boys to get through to the final. John might keep getting the sympathy vote, but he's going to come really unstuck in the latin dances, but he seems game to give it a go. Mark / Don / Andrew are OK, but Gary Rhodes has GOT to go. Those are my rambling thoughts ... |
