I've been trying to locate the subject book without success. It seems that CDs are offered for Grades 1-8 while books only 1-7. Am I supposed to buy the Grade 8 CD only? Thanks for any tips for this puzzled parent in USA.

Hi, as far as I know they don't do a book for the Grade 8 Violin pieces - you have to buy the music separately.

Dear Simoncal,
I would like to confirm that the advice given by carys and clarinetlover is correct. Selected Violin Examination Pieces is published for Grades 1 to 7 only. For a full list of the violin repertoire for Grade 8, please refer to the tables on this page - http://www.abrsm.org/?page=exams/gradedMus...xams/index.html For further information or to order any of the music that you see there, please get in touch with our distributors in the US. C F Peters New York USA Tel: +1 718 416 7800 (the press 1 for the order department) e-mail: sales@cfpeters-ny.com I hope that this helps. Best regards Christine Morris Forums Administration |
