Help please - mp3 recorder suggestions?
Looking for one that records well that's available on the internet, to ask for as a Christmas present. I remember a couple of years ago there was a thread about a Sony one I think, but I'd be keen to hear about one you've bought that records suitably clearly and has been reliable. Many thanks! |

The Zoom H4 is good, records good quality as mp3 but has better quality options aswell. I've only used it for mp3, downloaded it to computer then saved to CD. The CDs are perfectly acceptable considering the cost of the H4. I believe they are currently around £200 new.

[Which has its drawbacks - as every flaw in my playing is rendered with precision!] It is more expensive than the Zoom H2 or H4 but a far better made and more professional piece of kit. I got mine from Big Buy City in the USA and after paying postage, import duties and VAT it was still only 2/3 the price of buying it in Europe. |
