Last night, Lizzy Violin came and joined our orchestra (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
She did really well, as it's half way through the term.
We are doing Holst, and Coppelia. To be honest, I've got a better chance of dancing Coppelia on point than playing it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Our Grade 8'ers are having problems with it.

Strangely enough I met a forumite yesterday too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Yes I will be there next week. I really enjoyed myself.

It's the first time I've ever played violin with anyone else and I did manage to play some of the music, so it gave my confidence a boost.

Any of you guys thinking of joining an orchestra just do it!!!
(especially if you play strings and live in Birmingham)
