I can think of several people who have an exam shortly, but without ploughing back through posts and emails, I've lost track with when they are (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) If anybody wants to post here when your date is (and instrument/grade), we'll all know when to wish you luck (IMG:style_emoticons/default/party1.gif)

PS. Not just adult learners, anyone taking an exam is welcome to post!

Well done Nick. Hope you have passed.

I have my Grade 4 piano on Monday 23rd March at 12.44

I need to do a dry run to try and find the place before the day. think I may go by train that way I wont have to worry about parking or driving down there.

I have my Grade 3 flute exam on 27th March at 12:10

I think I'm ok with the aural tests and the sight reading. Just need to practise,practise,practise!:-)

I feel ready any way!

Grade 2 piano Weds 1st Apil at 16:02

I think I should do OK as long as my nerves hold up. I remeber my Grade 1 just before Christmas I got worse as the exam went on. When I had to stand up for the aural tests I didn't think my legs would hold out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

This Friday morning. Hoping not to be sharing the waiting room with any small, confident preteen grade 8 candidates. Quietly hoping for painless but disabling accident to either arm before Friday.

Took grade 3 jazz piano this afternoon. Very nervous as it was at a different centre. Okay overall, but I always spoil at least one piece by making loads of nervous mistakes.

Oh no, no accidents, *touchwood*... Not worth it to hurt yourself over an exam! I wish you best of health!

All the best for your exam, nova! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/party1.gif)

Thank you! You're quite right - and we should be careful what we wish for - I do have rather a sore left arm suddenly. Maybe over practicing...
