Got tickets for Edinburgh!!
Was actually looking for the original Le Onde thread, but it must have been deleted. Was involved in a show which was on last week, so had almost no practise time for past few weeks. However, yesterday I sat down and played piano properly for first time in a while, and just about managed Le Onde. Quite excited as I really love this piece and am just about there. I've also been listening to I Giorni, and starting to get hooked. Does anyone know how hard it is?? |

Hi Stumac I only know i giorni (and the others in that book) so I cannot compare with le onde. I have asked Father Christmas for the le onde book! I found I Giorni difficult but not so difficult. It has taken me several months of albeit inconsistent practice as I have been doing it as an extra piece on the side. There is a lot to it and there are some difficult stretches on the left hand but I am sure that you will have no trouble with it when I think of the pieces that you have been playing to date. Hope you enjoy playing it as much as I do, in spite of my family being fed up hearing it! |

Hm - He's quite old. I shall listen to a sample of his output if I can find any. No, I can't find any.
Site doesn't say when he was born. Only that he won a scholarship in 1982. And that's interesting because he hasn't a listed work composed before 1982. v This post has been edited by Wyldbabi: Jan 5 2005, 09:01 PM |

Can anyone tell me the year this man was born? I've looked through several google pages.
I did find a picture where's he's fallen asleep at the keyboard. Maybe had enough. http://www.buxton-opera.co.uk/fourfour/dia...ico_einaudi.php <_< |

Hahahahah, he is too. Another Einlaudi fan, I see. I have to remember it's Ludo-vico. Well, I hope his playing doesn't bore his audience as much as it seems to, him. Rhapsodin  :D |
