This is all very kind and most unexpected.

Yes, its the biggie, but as one of the kids said to me in school, but sir, you don't look a day near 50. I had to explain that there were other 'big' birthdays. One of my dimmer students asked if I got a telegram from the Queen, as they had heard about this on the news.

I hope to be able to report later in the day on any exciting presents I may have received...
