Last week I was lucky enough to be invited for an interview after I applied for a job. Such a nice change when I have applied so many times and don't even get the chance to get in there and show them what I can do. Anyway, the day after the interview I got a phone call to let me know that I had been shortlisted and had to go in for another interview today, however, this was different I just had to do tests.

They have got it down to 4 of us that went in today. I had to do some online tests, word and excel that weren't very nice, maths and literacy (they were easy) and one of those personality tests things that you have to describe yourself out of the words they give you and say which one least describes you! Not sure how that will go.

Anyway, waiting game now, hope to hear by the end of the week but she said don't worry if I don't as it could be into next week before a decision is made.

It would be really nice if I manage to get this job as I haven't managed to get anything since I lost my job last year when I was caring for my Mum. It is part time and hopefully should fit in with my piano and OU course (and of course now clarinet) plus looking after son and also Mum who is now in her own home.

Just thought that I would share that with you all.

Hope you get the job! But if you don't, getting to the last four is a clear indication that they see you as very employable, and augurs well for the future - so don't worry about it! You've done all you can and now you have to trust that whatever happens is the best thing for you. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

They must have had loads of applications (it was on our local news that one company had received 7000 applications for only 300 jobs) so to have got this far is fantastic. Fingers crossed that you get good news this week, ET (IMG:style_emoticons/default/fingersCrossed.gif)
