Dear Music Teachers and Leaders,
We're now welcoming applications for the 2010 National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain! Described this month as 'magnificent' by The Times and 'a credit to Britain' by The Guardian, we’re very keen for next year’s NYO to bring together outstanding musicians from every corner of Britain, and we would hugely value your help to reach your students. Please do let your young players and young composers know about this opportunity. They need to be 18 or under and a level equivalent to Grade 8 distinction but don't need to have taken any exams. Any musicians interested should visit www.nyo.org.uk to find out what’s involved and to begin an application. It’s completely free to apply and audition. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 1st July! Thanks ever so much for your support! James Murphy NYO Director of Communications |
