I've been having a sight read through it and came across something rather strange. On the second page of Norwegian Bridal Procession (op.19 no.2, piece no 22 in the book), the middle three lines have RH in bass clef and LH in treble with the RH going all the way down to B below the bass clef stave and the LH staying around the octave above middle C. Is it meant to be like that or have they got the lines the wrong way up/wrong clefs/octave etc? It just seems a bit of a ridiculous way to play it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Don't know this particular piece, but I have something very similar in a piece of beethoven I am learning, and I think its a bit stupid.
If it's playable it is probably meant to be like it, however odd it may seem. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) If you mean in the first bar on page 22, where it says m.d in the 2nd stave down, I would ignore it and play the two treble clefs with your right, and stick to LH playing the bass, if that makes sense. I might be on about something completely different though! I have the Dover book which is from the original Peters Edition, but as i'm on holiday, i can't check for a few days to see if it's the same. It probably is . Though, I would say that it's best to play the way that suits you, redistribute at leisure....if it makes things easier, sometimes it's a matter of necessity. Was thinking of learning the third piece from Pictures of Everyday Life.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/blush.gif) I've always just played the Treble Clef line with LH, and Bass clef with RH, with my RH crossing over my LH. It's a weird way of setting it out, I agree!
