Saturday 12 : Liverpool, Merseyside: The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society are putting on a concert on for a "Superorchestra" and "Supersing" made up of amateur musicians. The orchestra is for anyone grade 4 standard or more, they will have just one rehearsal on the morning of the concert. They will perform Copland's Hoedown, and Mars, Venus and Jupiter from Holst's Planets. No previous experience is required for the choirs, but they will have more rehearsals leading up to the event. The classical choir's repertoire will include Verdi, Faure and Vivaldi, while the jazz choir will sing new arrangements of work by Duke Ellington, Ray Charles and others. Thread in this forum.

When no level is stated for these events, what would be a suitable minimum level? I'm wondering what I need to aim at before I think about coming to any of them. I'm working towards Grade 1 at the moment so I have rather a long way to go!
