The first thing, that looked like a music stand wasnt exactly amazing - it was just playing recorded sounds, when he blocked the laser, which could just be done using a photosensor.
Theremin's are fantastic, as are ondes martenots, it must be alot harder than it looks!

I kept "losing" the middle C on the piano when I first started playing (kept playing an octave too high or too low!!). I'd have no chance of remembering where it is on that thing!!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Woahhh!!! That's seriously strange!!! The Theramin was quite cool when it sounded more like a musical instrument, but I didn't like the 'space' sounds!!
