Hey, folks!
Thought I'd start a thread where we can share our favourite clips of all those great brass players. Here are two to start us off. As a jazz trombonist, I love showing my trumpet pupils this and watching their faces! To the uninitiated, the tune is a harmonization of an improvisation by Clifford Brown and all the solos that follow are improvised. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvUsaZeXCKM For virtuosity of a different type, I can really appreciate Alison's style, tone and clarity of articulation.
